Theyre looking to add a Project Engineer to their team to assist their project management staff on commercial, hospitality, light industrial and healthcare projects in and around Chicago.

Our client is one of the most reputable and established general contractors in Chicago. With this strong pipeline, they have strong clientele with 70 percent of their revenue being repeated business. Our client has a team of 60 which makes it a tight-knit family environment, with strong collaboration and communication.

Manage the technical aspects of the project; serve as a liaison between the project manager and subcontractors/vendors.
Identifies and documents changes in scope.
Ensures client criteria and scope are met by all engineering disciplines.
Provides Superintendent's with immediate project assistance to ensure all necessary documentation is completed and submitted properly
Procure, track and follow up on all critical and long lead material and equipment items.

Manage, analyze and review the project specifications to ensure compliance with the contract documents in order to complete the submittal process.

Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related area of study
~0-2 years of construction experience working on commercial, light industrial or healthcare projects
~ Working knowledge of commercial construction technology and details. Candidate must be extremely proficient reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawings
