Team Leader Job at Genesis

Responsibilities:
Coordinate all aspects of services provided to supported persons.
Implement and document programs and activities from Individual Plan of Service.
Ensure a Culture of Gentleness is evident and nurtured.
Maintain personal schedules of supported persons including doctor appointments and job schedules.
Assist consumers in organizing medical information and budgeting money.
Develop staff schedules and oversee safety procedures in the home.
Review and process various documents and reports.
Manage individual records and personnel matters.
Facilitate team meetings and in-service training sessions.
Oversee staff time and budget management.
Plan work operations and meal planning for consumers.
Support with paying bills and managing finances.
Direct and supervise direct care staff activities.
Communicate and collaborate with various individuals and groups.
Ensure legal and regulatory compliance in the workplace.
Participate in safety and security measures.
Requirements and Experience:

Education/Experience:
High School graduate or equivalent.
Experience working with persons with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
Familiarity with community resources and initiatives for individuals with disabilities.
Training in MORC or equivalent desired.
Certifications in BBP, First Aid, and CPR.

Knowledge and Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work.
Basic computer skills and language proficiency.
Mathematical and reasoning abilities.
