Job DescriptionDescription:

Personalized Therapy LLC is a multi-disciplinary Orthopedic Rehabilitation and Behavioral Health Center encompassing Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, Applied Behavioral Analysis and Psychological services. Our clinics are located in St. Mary's and Charles Counties.

We are currently looking for a Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The preferred applicant will help patients improve their communication skills and overcome speech, language, and swallowing disorders. We accept patients of all ages, but most of the patients seen in this department are pediatrics.

We are offering a $25,000 sign-on bonus, $2,500 towards relocating to Southern Maryland or the surrounding area, two weeks of paid time off, paid licensure renewal, Med Bridge membership, 5 paid holidays, 401k matching, health/dental/vision insurance, short term disability, life insurance, assistance with continuing education and student loan reimbursement.

Requirements:

Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology

State licensure in Speech Language Pathology

Experience working with patients with communication and swallowing disorders

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD and other related disorders is preferred

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred

Feeding experience preferred

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders

Provide therapy to patients to improve their speech and language skills

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care

Keep accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans

Educate patients and their families on communication and swallowing disorders and how to manage them
