Eagle River specializes in lower middle market transactions in the range of $5 million - $100 million with an emphasis on non-operated working interest, mineral/royalty and joint venture opportunities.
Eagle River is actively seeking a Reservoir Engineer.Job Description:
Reservoir Engineer
The primary role of the Reservoir Engineer will be to help lead Eagle River's reservoir engineering assessment of oil and gas properties.
This includes, but is not limited to, reserve volume and value estimations, reserve database creation and manipulation (ARIES & PHDWin), decline curve analyses, development of type curves / drilling economics, identification of upside opportunities and evaluation of lease operating statements and production operations.
The Reservoir Engineer will be responsible for assembling PowerPoint presentations and data room materials that highlight the key attributes of assets Eagle River is engaged to market.
In addition, the Reservoir Engineer will be required to work in conjunction with other members of the Eagle River technical team (including the Technical Director and geological professionals) to evaluate and present the technical merits of oil and gas properties.

Reporting Relationships
The Reservoir Engineer will report directly to the Technical Director.
The Candidate
The candidate should be highly motivated, entrepreneurial, knowledgeable of the oil and gas industry, capable, dependable, and reputable.
Ideally, the candidate will have a demonstrable successful track record in the oil and gas sector, particularly with private and public E&P companies.
A background in A&D or business development is not required but would be considered a plus.
The candidate should be prepared and able to work hard in a small team environment and be able to communicate clearly and concisely with Eagle River's Managing Directors and other staff members.
Compensation
Commensurate with background and experience. This includes salary, discretionary bonuses, and a competitive benefits package.
Necessary Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Excellent communication and presentation skills
5 years of relevant reservoir engineering experience
Proficient with ARIES, Enverus, Microsoft Access, Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working multiple oil and gas basins and reservoirs
Proficient with PHDWin, PowerTools, Spotfire and ArcGIS
