- You will be a part of the Nampa Orthopedics team working with MAs, RNs, Athletic Trainers, and our orthopedic physicians and surgeons.
- This position may occasionally work at our Fruitland clinic location.
- Our highly skilled orthopedic surgeons and interdisciplinary clinical teams are regarded as among the finest in the region and many have received national acclaim for their quality care.
- Our clinics offer patients both surgical and non-surgical treatment options for their problems. Patients can feel confident they are in capable hands with board-certified Orthopedic Surgeons whose highest priority is excellence in patient care.
- In addition to the typical MA duties, you will prep injections for minor procedures, complete chart prep, DME application, and suture removals.
- You will also assist with surgery scheduling, prior authorizations, in-basket tasks, regulatory items, MRI authorizations, and potentially casting, splinting, and cast removal.
- An ideal candidate would have an interest in sports medicine and orthopedics, is a quick learner, has an easy going personality, and is a flexible team player willing to jump in on whatever is needed to be done.

- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- MA certification required within 90 days of eligibility to take a national certification exam from one of the following Saint Alphonsus approved agencies:
- American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA)
- American Medical Technologists (RMA)
- National Healthcare Association (CCMA)
- National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA)
- American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire.
- For new MA graduates, minimum of 100 hour externship or MA work experience is required.
