Bellwood Developmental Center an 82 bed ICF/DD Facility is looking for experienced, creative & dependable Full Time & Part Time Registered Nurses (RN) for All shifts to join our dynamic, caring, progressive and close-knit community.
Responsibilities:
Administer nursing care to intellectually and developmentally disabled patientsDiagnose and establish patient treatment plansMonitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behaviorCommunicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient careEducate patients about health maintenance and disease preventionMaintain accurate patient medical recordsProvide advice and emotional support to patients and their family membersRegistered Nurses (RN)
Qualifications:
Previous RN experience providing health care services to those with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred but not requiredPrevious RN experience in nursing or other medical fieldsFamiliarity with medical software and equipmentAbility to build rapport with patientsStrong problem solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentRegistered Nurses (RN)
