    Job Summary

    Primarily responsible for store system maintenance, problem resolution and for developing improvements that allow for more efficient and effective support of systems. Systems supported may include printers, POS hardware and managed devices in retail stores.

    Key Qualifications

    • Strong experience with hardware and software, Including the latest versions of macOS, iOS, and iPadOS.
    • Strong troubleshooting ability; can take steps to isolate issues and determine root cause through investigative analysis in an environment where little knowledge/experience/documentation exists
    • Strong communication skills; effectively communicate the issue, root cause, and resolution in technical terms
    • Experience with Unix, Linux
    • Experience working with ticket management systems

    Description

    Major Responsibilities:

    Responsible for reviewing escalated incidents, to validate that they have accurate and complete information prior to escalation or resolution. This will require, communicating with store teams to clarify details or follow up on troubleshooting steps, interacting with remote hardware and databases to validate system status and records, escalating validated tickets that require more in depth triage to engineering, and resolving tickets by placing orders or confirming resolution with stores.

    Work closely with various teams to resolve and identify root cause of incidents.

    Support process and technical documentation, and other systems-related work products as needed.

    Work closely with our support teams to ensure trending problems get identified quickly

    Communicate any system updates, changes, problems or new trouble processes in a timely manner.

    Pay Range: $18 - 23/hr.

    The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
