Description

The legacy that is today Wavepoint 3PL is a story of successfully creating and executing customer-driven solutions that align with ever-changing market conditions, born out of the demand for single-source logistics both responsive and competitive. We'd like to say we planned it all back in 1978 when we booked the first truckload, but, in full disclosure, we followed the market as it drove us to where we are today. Things have changed – and keep changing – and we're a 3PL provider for these times. Grassroots growth of individual trucking, warehousing, and brokerage enterprises brought together under new entrepreneurial leadership, is now aligned with the shared visions of excellence, supported by a talented staff and best-in-class assets, and the all-important 'can do' spirit.

Summary:

A Maintenance Tech inspects buildings, equipment, and systems for any issues. They also perform general maintenance of the facility and grounds.

Maintenance Technician Description:

Performs general plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) repairs to the facility's equipment and systems.
Inspect equipment and systems to identify problems or issues.
Consult blueprints or building plans to identify the best solution to resolve systems or equipment issues.
Conducts preventive maintenance to ensure that plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems continue operating properly.
Obtains services from outside contractors when repairs require specialized training.
Performs general cleaning tasks in the facility.
Maintains inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies.

Requirements:

Maintenance Technician Requirements:

Certified HVAC preferred.
ARPAC Certified preferred.
Automation Experience preferred.
Thorough knowledge of general plumbing, and electrical.
Ability to read blueprints, building plans, and repair manuals.
Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
Excellent time management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Previous verifiable experience in a related field is required.
Mechanic knowledge of ARPAC and Douglas repack machinery.
Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, and crawl into awkward spaces.
Must be able to 50 pounds at a time.
