- Performs patient care assistant responsibilities for patients as part of the nursing team. Performs collection of blood specimens and records electrical impulses of the heart as ordered by a physician. Assists with general office/clerical functions on nursing units.

- Promotes and supports an organized work environment
- Preforms collection of blood specimens and EKG's as ordered by the physician
- Preforms general office/clerical functions on the nursing units
- Other Duties as assigned
- Minimum Education:
Required:- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):
Required:- Previous hospital experience as a nursing assistant, EMT or physician office patient care experience.
Preferred:- Phlebotomy experience preferred.
License, Registry or Certification:
Required:Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required, prior experience as a nursing assistant in an acute care setting or EMT experience required.
- Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:
Required:- Normal basic patient care equipment, wheelchairs and stretchers. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
