Position Summary:
As a member of our team, you will deliver essential patient care services, such as medication administration, clinical treatments, and patient monitoring. Documenting patient care, communicating effectively with the care team, and supporting patients with daily activities are crucial aspects of this role. Collaborating across disciplines, you will ensure comprehensive patient care, including education and emotional support.
Minimum EducationCompletion of a registered nursing program is mandatory. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.Required Skills
This role demands critical thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to operate independently in challenging situations. The capacity to thrive in a high-pressure environment is essential.Certifications
Completion of AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire is required.
Obtaining and maintaining AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of employment is necessary.
Acquiring AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire is mandatory.
Preferred certification in Handle With Care within 90 days of employmentRequired Licenses
Active licensure as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina or a Compact State is a must.
