TranscriptSo what motivated me to want to work at DigitalOcean originally, was the people. The folks who interviewed me were just very down to earth, and I actually felt like I would just want to hang-out with them outside of work as opposed to them just being colleagues. It turned out that that was true in the end. Also, the benefits in general feel and vibe of the company were just very in-line with the type of person that I am, and I felt like I could just be myself. The benefits were just as good, if not better than the other places that I've worked. There wasn't any pressure to be something that I wasn't. I just was expected to come and do a good job and add the personal flare to the tasks that I was doing that I wanted to add, which to me was just incredibly refreshing. It's proven to be true throughout my time here.
