Job summary
This position is responsible for maintaining and processing evidence seized from crime scenes. The purpose of this classification is to obtain and secure evidence, ensure availability for subpoenas, testify in court and depositions,and retrieve public records.
- Maintains digital multimedia evidence collected by the Police Department.
- Receives and catalogs video/audio collected in digital format.
- Redacts sensitive information from evidentiary materials.
