The City of Nicholasville is accepting applications/resumes for the position of Staff Accountant, grade 27.The starting rate for this position falls within the annual range of $48,526.40 to $64, The hiring rate is determined during the final step of the interview process.
Under general administrative direction assist with the accounting and financial functions of the City; perform related work as required. Must be bondable.Requires knowledge of accounting theory, principles and practices and its application to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger; knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to accounting; ability to make mathematical computations with speed and accuracy.
