    We are looking for an effective Warehouse Lead to direct receiving, warehousing and distribution operations at our new Odgen warehouse. You will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a variety of finished goods. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly. We have an all-hands-on-deck company culture and everyone must be willing to chip in to get projects done on time, as such we ask that this position also has forklift driving experience. Additionally, the Warehouse Lead duties will include administrative functions.

    This position is full-time and may require working overtime, nights, and/or weekends to meet deadlines.

    Significant Activities & Deliverables:

    • Assists with warehouse human resource objectives including selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; adhering to policies and procedures
    • Oversee the picking, loading, and shipping of bulk products and packages utilizing manual pick-slips; prepare and submit required documentation
    • Oversee the receiving, unloading, inspection and sorting of inbound product following order specifications, packing slips and quality control requirements; prepare and submit required documentation
    • Oversee the stocking of products; plan storage locations; space maximization; FIFO; safety and spill prevention requirements; quality control requirements
    • Implement proper storage, inventory, warehousing procedures and efficiencies
    • Oversee and audit backend inventory software, planning and executing, moves, picks and put-aways.
    • Serve as lead over assigned warehouse functions; train and provide lead direction and guidance when applicable; prioritize work assignments
    • Oversee preparing monthly inventory count.
    • Communicate low levels, out-of-stocks, supply needs to appropriate plant administration to optimize time management of receipt of product
    • Operate a variety of warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, dock plates, pumps, metering systems
    • Oversee the daily maintenance and scheduled maintenance of the above equipment
    • Follow, apply, and enforce plant safety rules and procedures
    • Assist with direct and third-party shipping to include rate evaluation and pricing.

    Leadership and Team Reach:

    • Ability to work well with a variety of departments including plant office, drivers, sales, delivery drivers, vendors and customers
    • Work side by side with Warehouse Team Members to create team environment

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High School, GED equivalent or higher
    • 5+ years warehouse supervisory experience including leading others and overseeing physical inventories
    • Excellent internal and external customer service
    • CDL Preferred
    • Forklift certified
    • Ability to lift 50 lbs

    In addition to the above minimum qualifications, this position is expected to have the following abilities:
