    As one of the fastest-growing warehousing and logistics companies in North America, we're looking for an experienced PLANT MANAGER.

    We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated, highly disciplined, and high-energy individual to lead the team as the Plant Manager. A professional with extensive knowledge to oversee all plant operations and make crucial decisions for the company. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with the responsibility for all financial aspects of plant operations and have a familiarity with the third-party logistics and/or the automotive industry.

    POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Reports directly to the Director of Operations
    • Strong Project Management Experience is Required
    • Strong leadership skills managing salaried and hourly employees
    • Create direction for departments by having daily and weekly meetings with the direct reports
    • Maintain and improve employee morale by facilitating team building and communication within the department
    • Communicates with our corporate resources
    • Direct, coordinate, and assign work activities to all employees under supervision in facility and monitor, review and evaluate work product, methods, and procedures of those employees
    • Understanding of lean processing principles
    • Responsible for driving continuous improvement
    • Establish and maintain effective KPI's, monitors performance and initiates improvement opportunities
    • Produce productivity reports and turn data into business cases to make fact-based decisions
    • Develops and manages operations budgets to ensure compliance with the company and the customer
    • Communicates with customers to handle any escalated partner service issues or complaints
    • Exceeds client-customer expectations
    • Promote and maintain a safe working environment
    • Enforce company policies/procedures and corresponding work instructions

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Materials Management, and/or Engineering required
    • A minimum of ten years of experience at an operational level related to Logistics/Supply Chain Management
    • Automotive and/or Third-Party Logistics is required
    • VAA and manufacturing experience is required
    • Experience with Elemental Time Studies and Value Stream Mapping
    • Start-Up, Equipment Installation and Launch Experience Required
    • Understanding and experience of assembly tooling and equipment and ROBOTICS
    • Strong Customer interfacing skills, 24/7 availability via cell phone
    • Strong knowledge and experience of problem-solving using Root Cause Analysis, Safety, Labor Relations, and Worker's Compensation
    • Demonstrated experience with performing Layered Audits
    • ERP/WMS proficiency (SAP preferable)
    • Experience with Continuous Improvement and Lean Processing Principles
    • Demonstrated successes related to launching operations or turnarounds
    • Logistics/Supply Chain background to include proficiency in Third Party Services including Part Sequencing, JIT, Value-Added, Sub-Assembly, Kitting, Repack, Deconsolidation, and Bulk and Small Lot Metering
