    (LGESMI) develops and manufactures large lithium-ion polymer batteries and packs for electric vehicle (EV) and energy storage applications.

    Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical equipment to ensure continuous production, execute regular preventive maintenance plan (TPM) and modify equipment as needed.

    This position is focused on PLC controls-related work and will be involved with mechanical or electrical work as needed and as qualified.


    Responsibilities:
    Perform technical or electrical work to troubleshoot, repair, and modify equipment, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs)

    Check equipment regularly to ensure normal operating activityCoordinate with outside sources to schedule maintenance for more complex issuesTrack and document repairsPerform regular preventative maintenanceMaintain a safe work environment Monitor data from measuring devicesWork in a clean room and climate-controlled environmentComplete additional projects as assigned (e.g., wiring new sensors, gathering materials, sizing wire)Perform physical tasks such as lifting, climbing ladders, and assembling large and small part assemblies and componentsFill in for other technicians as needed Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
    Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, SustainRight Location, Right Quantity, Right ContainerFollow LGESMI existing cleaning SOP's during downtime (e.g. line stop, waiting time, etc.)
