Description: We are seeking a proactive Shift lead to manage daily operations during designated shifts at our establishment. This role is crucial for leading staff, ensuring operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional guest service.
Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Oversee smooth operation during shifts, coordinating front and back of house seamlessly.
- Staff Supervision: Direct staff activities, manage performance, and handle staffing levels to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Customer Service: Address customer service issues promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction and maintaining quality service standards.
- Compliance and Safety: Enforce adherence to sanitation and safety regulations, conducting regular checks for compliance.
- Financial Oversight: Manage cash operations and prepare reports on shift activities, highlighting any discrepancies.
- Provide legendary guest service.

- Produce coffee drinks and cocktails to O&F specifications.
- Take orders customers for food and beverages.
- Deliver all food and beverages in a timely fashion.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and appearance of the restaurant.
- Greet guests and guide them through ordering process.
- Provide guests with menus.
- Inform guests of current promotions
- Operate cash registers to accept payments for food and beverages.
- Answer the phone.
- Take to-go orders.
- Keep the order counter stand neat, tidy, and presentable for guests.
- Wipe tables or seats with dampened cloths
- Set tables with condiments and other supplies.
- Scrape and stack dirty dishes and carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning.
- Perform serving, cleaning, or stocking duties.
- Responding to and resolving customer concerns or complaints
Evaluating and modifying processes to improve efficiency and quality of service.
Qualifications:
- Ability to memorize all the ingredients in both the menu as well as daily/weekly specials.
- MUST have open availability and work weekends.
- General knowledge of wine, cocktails, and beer
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to effectively listen to and respond to customer needs.
- Must have a courteous, friendly, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to multitask efficiently.
- Previous restaurant experience preferred.
- Friendly and customer-focused personality
- Ability to articulate clear greetings and farewells to guests, as well as being able to understand requests for assistance.
- Ability to clearly communicate guests' needs
- Ability to effectively communicate on the telephone.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy.
- Able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks.
