Job summary
The Assistant Nurse Manager performs coordination, planning, administrative management, financial and operational duties in collaboration with the Administrative Nursing Supervisor,Nurse Manager and Assistant Vice President of the Nursing Division. The role may require access to information considered sensitive to Albany Medical Center,
its patients affiliates partners including but not limited to HIPAA Protected Health Information other information regulated by Federal New York State statutes.
The Assistant Nurse Manager is responsible for mentoring professional caregivers in the delivery of patient care facilitates patient access communication transitions throughout the acute care stay.
- The Assistant Nurse Manager supports development implementation evaluation of policies programs services consistent with hospital's mission departmental unit vision philosophy.
