    (ECI) is a leading power engineering consultant firm that provides engineering, system planning and studies, technical consultation, project management, surveying, environmental planning, commissioning/testing and construction services to electric utilities, energy developers and industrials throughout the U.S.

    Our experience includes system voltages from 4.16 kV through 765 kV.

    ECI has an opening for an assistant project manager in Cumberland, ME.


    Duties include document control, handling and filing, assembly of engineering documents, preparation of meeting agendas, meeting minutes, project reports, document tracking logs and purchase orders.

    Additional duties include quality control documentation, safety documentation, processing and distributing project related documents, supporting client relations, material ordering, and supporting project financial controls.

    The successful applicant must be available to travel for project management and educational assignments.


    This position requires a very basic understanding of contracts, change orders, invoicing, project work scopes, purchase orders and general engineering documents (Company specific On-The-Job-Training for these items will be provided).

    Under direct supervision of the Engineering Manager, the successful applicant will provide assistance and technical support to multiple project managers and other office staff.

    Minimum


    Requirements:
    High school diploma or equivalent (degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or similar area of study preferred); 2 years direct experience or equivalent combination of education and experience; two years of professional technical services related experience beneficial but not required; excellent organizational skills; strong written and verbal communication skills; working knowledge of a variety of computer applications including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access), Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint ERP software knowledge a bonus; occasional travel will be required,

    therefore, the successful applicant will be subject to ECI's auto insurance carrier requirements . The successful applicant will be subject to client-mandated drug and background checking.
