    POSITION SUMMARY

    To help people integrate their faith and finances through their investment, insurance, and charitable giving decisions.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

    1. Provide holistic investment, insurance, and charitable giving advice and financial planning counsel to individuals and couples.
    2. Generate new business and sale of products within the market area.
    3. Provide service to existing clients.
    4. Build trust with clients through professional competency and empathy.
    5. Initiate contact (in person, by phone, or by mail) with current clients for cross-sales.
    6. Function effectively as part of a team of advisors approach.
    7. Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of all Everence-offered products and services.
    8. Periodically make group presentations.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    1. Strong ambition and desire to generate new business; sales orientation.
    2. Appreciation for the mission of integrating faith and finance.
    3. Self-disciplined and demanding of oneself; self-starter; energetic.
    4. Motivation to excel; strong persuasive skills.
    5. Enthusiasm towards phone work; no call reluctance.
    6. Proven communication skills including objective listening skills, verbal, and written skills.
    7. Ego strength (resiliency).
    8. Ability to explain complex financial concepts in easily understood manner.
    9. Service motivation to build long-term relationships.
    10. Attain appropriate licensing for respective products if not currently licensed, including but not limited to Life & Health Licensure, Series 6 and 63 or 65 (Series 7 also appropriate).
    11. Interest in attaining Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation or equivalent.
