Job DescriptionWe are working with a long term client in Lewisville to fill the position of Recruiting Manager. It's an on-site position with a small team helping the family-owned engineering and construction company continue to grow quickly.
What You Will Do As a Recruiting Manager: You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the organization's talent acquisition strategies align with business objectives while remaining competitive in the market. You will be responsible for overseeing the full recruitment cycle, developing effective sourcing strategies, and managing the recruitment team to attract, hire, and retain top talent. You will report to the Director of Human Resources.
A Typical Day
· Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent across various roles, including Automation Specialists, Technicians, Control Engineers, BIM Modelers, and more.
· Oversee the entire recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
· Lead, mentor, and develop the recruitment team, providing guidance and support to achieve recruitment goals.
· Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
· Identify and utilize various sourcing channels, including industry associations, networking, job boards, social media platforms, and technology professional organizations.
· Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management.
· Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of recruitment activities and metrics.
· Provide regular updates on recruitment activities and progress to senior management.
What You Will Bring
The Basic
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
· 5+ years of experience in recruitment, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
· Proven track record of successfully managing a recruitment team and achieving hiring goals.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
· Strong proficiency in MS Office and other relevant tools.
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
· Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
The Preferred
· Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction company.
· Strong experience in recruitment strategy development.
· Relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are a plus.
