A global Japanese automotive Tire one supplier is seeking a Japanese Bilingual Procurement Program Manager who will join their US team.
The ideal candidate must have over three years of working experience in the Automotive industry, with Program Management experience desired.
Fluent business skills in Japanese are necessary for this position, and a bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or supply chain management is highly desired.
Although direct experience is not required, working experience in the automotive industry is a must, and training is available for this position.
This position will be responsible for planning and managing designated project activities to ensure goals and objectives are accomplished within a prescribed time frame and within funding parameters by performing any combination of all essential duties and responsibilities within the business units (BU). This individual is the "conductor" of a given projects and responsible for project's success, removing roadblocks, purchased part BOM cost and being the window between Category Purchasing and the BU to identify and manage issue resolution.
Requirements:
