We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Lines Service Manager to lead our service team and ensure the delivery of outstanding client support.
This role is essential in maintaining strong client relationships and optimizing operational efficiency within our commercial lines department.This is a full-time position reporting to our office in Enfield, CT. There is potential for this role to transition to a hybrid role based on business needs.
Primary Job Responsibilities :
Prepare proposals and presentations for new business opportunities.
Lead and supervise a team of commercial lines account managers and service representatives (some of which are remote employees).
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the commercial lines service department, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of insurance services to clients.
Serve as a primary point of contact for escalated client inquiries and complex insurance issues.Collaborate with producers and underwriters to facilitate policy renewals, endorsements, and claims management.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance service quality, streamline processes, and optimize team performance.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide coaching and mentorship, and facilitate training programs for the service team.
Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and keep the team informed of relevant updates.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Requirements :
Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial lines insurance, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory or managerial role at an independent agency.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
Proven track record of delivering exceptional client service and resolving complex insurance-related issues.
Proficiency in insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
