    Assistant/Associate/Full Clinical Professor

    The College of Nursing at Auburn University, located in Auburn, Alabama, invites applications for a full-time on campus 12-month, non-tenure track faculty position to begin April 1, 2024.

    Candidates with expertise in the area of Adult Medical Surgical are sought to teach our highly qualified undergraduate students.


    The primary responsibility of the clinical track faculty member is to provide instruction in the classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical settings with undergraduate BSN students.

    Clinical track faculty also engage in service to the college and university and work in intraprofessional/interprofessional teams for scholarly productivity.

    As part of a land grant university, outreach is an essential part of the university and college missions. Clinical track faculty assume active roles in College of Nursing outreach activities.

    Minimum Qualifications


    Minimum Qualifications for Clinical Track: Master's degree in Nursing at the time employment begins with specialty preparation in Adult Health. Demonstrated current clinical experience required. Candidates must be eligible for or maintain a current clinical or Nurse Educator certification. Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills are essential.

    Desired Qualifications:
    Doctoral degree and teaching experience in a baccalaureate program.
