    Job Summary:

    Maintains the general ledger, reviews financial statements, researches accounts, statistics, and analyzes financial records.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    Prepares and inputs journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation.

    Accounts for all transactions of the business, and confirms that the company's accounting process is shown in the accuracy of the ledger.

    Analyzes and reconciles general ledger and subsidiary accounts monthly and maintains appropriate supporting documentation of assigned balance sheet accounts.

    Reviews financial statements for proper accounting treatment of revenue and expense items.

    Generates ad-hoc reports and assists management with interpretation and analysis of such reports.

    Engages with facility and home office leadership regarding monthly financial results.

    Partners and consults with facility and home office personnel on accounting-related issues.

    Provides training on accounting and related systems to Company personnel as needed.

    Assists in other areas of the Accounting Department, including payroll and internal auditing.

    Prepares audit schedules and other reports for external auditors.

    Periodic travel including overnight stay as necessary.

    Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    Education: Bachelor Degree

    Experience: 1-3 years

    Licenses and Certifications:

    None required

    Physical Requirements:

    Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
