    Description

    Job Title: Clinical Assessor

    Clinical Assessors provide critical level of care assessments, individual, group, and family therapy, crisis services, case management, and referral services to outpatient adolescent clients.

    This role involves conducting initial assessments to determine eligibility and developing treatment plans that identify the services and level of care needed.

    Clinical Assessors work with other staff to ensure a smooth transition to treatment services and actively communicate with support staff, treatment teams, and outside agencies on treatment and safety issues.

    The estimated salary for this position is $42-48/hour based on the job requirements and location in Washington & Idaho markets.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct mental health assessments in person or telehealth to determine the need and level of care for adolescent clients
    • Make placements to appropriate facilities based on assessment outcomes
    • Provide clinical consultation to referral resources, family members, and others to support clients in their treatment goals
    • Collect and review referral information, consult with others as needed, and coordinate services and scheduling of client assessments
    • Monitor client access to and involvement with programs to address barriers to treatment
    • Model and support health and wellness activities and healthy coping skills for clients

    Requirements:

    • Master's Degree in Mental Health, Social Sciences, or other relevant field
    • Active mental health licensure in Washington and/or Idaho (LMHC, LICSW, LCSW, LMSW, LPC, or LMFT)
    • Minimum one year of experience in relevant field with knowledge and skills related to the treatment of mental health disorders
    • Able to exercise discretion and independent judgment in all areas of job performance

    Conditions of Employment:

    • Completion of tuberculin screening during first week of employment
    • Completion of pre-employment drug screening, post-accident, and upon reasonable suspicion of use
    • Demonstrated computer literacy
    • Attendance at all mandatory staff development and training
