Role Summary

MetaPhase is seeking a ServiceNow Developer with a minimum of seven (7+) years of overall IT experience to be a part of a Federal IT team supporting our clients to transform their business and solve complex problems leveraging ServiceNow (SN). You will be stepping into a growing team where you can leverage your experience in SN to deliver on existing engagements and to play a role in standing up our corporate SN Service Line.

As a technical team member, you will establish yourself as an SN platform specialist and liaison among clients, technical resources, and project stakeholders. The SN Developer will work on projects from a development and architecture perspective through design, implementation, testing, and troubleshooting/problem solving.

The SN Developer will be working with a project team to understand our client's business objectives and translate client needs into specific technical requirements, and defining a SN solution to meet those requirements. You will be collaborating with team members to develop and implement requirements through SN - helping with SN architectural decisions, technical standards, matching solutions to business problems and helping our clients get the most from their SN investment.

What You Will Be Doing

Attend management-level and stakeholder meetings to obtain business and technical requirements, offer solutions, and serve as a technical advisor on SN tool capabilities
Contribute to technical team discussions around ServiceNow solution design, and architecture on larger development efforts such as integrations or new module implementations or customizations
Ensure adherence to development guidelines as it relates to security, performance, re-usability, scalability and stability, code reviews, API usage
Collaborate with teams and clients to develop and maintain a technical roadmap for the ServiceNow platform that aligns with customer transformation objectives and balances technical and business needs
Collaborate on technical aspects of ServiceNow implementations projects and provide technical support in ServiceNow tool configuration and custom development - Design, Development and Implementation of ServiceNow customization including, but not limited to: core setup, workflow administration, reporting, data imports, custom scripting, and third party software integrations
Create and maintain design specifications, architectural diagrams, and process diagrams supporting and communicating changes to ServiceNow platform applications
Support business capture efforts and proposals/responses, marketing materials, case studies, and participating in presentations and/or challenges

What We Need From You (Required)

7+ years of overall IT experience with at least 2 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer
5+ year working in ServiceNow
Experience working Cloud Platform solutions integrating with other Cloud Applications and Data Sources
Comparable written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to contribute to technical decision making

Bonus Points (Desired)

Hold ServiceNow certifications including Certified System Administrator
Strong knowledge of the SDLC both Agile and Waterfall

Work Location

TBD - Mix of remote and Contractor site (DC Metro Area). Remote work until further notice
