    Examples of Duties

    Main Job Duties:
    • Develops and monitors toll collection system data through review of daily reports and queries.
    • Inspects, cleanses, transforms, and models toll system data with the goal of discovering useful information, informing conclusions, and supporting decision making.
    • Develops and performs analytical reviews of E-ZPass customer service center system and toll lane operations.
    • Creates financial models based on analyses to support organization decision making.
    • Monitors Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and works to ensure KPIs are achieved.
    • Develops and works with trending reports of Tolling Data.
    • Assists with in-lane Automated Toll Payment Machine (ATPM) audits.
    • Reviews stored video images to verify toll lane discrepancies and related operational problems.
    • Develops and maintains reports and responds to data requests in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Identifies and interprets technical and numerical information relating to revenue leakage.
    • Assists with research, investigation, and other toll audit-related projects as directed by the Toll Audit Manager and Director of Audit and Internal Control
    Major Work Characteristics:
    • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the application of data analysis techniques to monitor operations, ensure appropriate internal control, and solve business problems.
    • Organizational and analytical skills as well as the ability to correlate large amounts of information from a variety of sources.
    • Understanding of methods of system analysis and the principles, design, and procedural methods used in large data analysis.
    • Ability to manage routine and sensitive inquiries and contact with officials and representatives from within and outside the organization.
    • Familiarity with audit and compliance procedures, statistical research, and fraud analysis.
    • Proficiency for learning procedures with software applications that are unique to the toll industry.
    • Ability to maintain high levels of trust and confidentiality.
    • Ability to travel along the 241-mile Turnpike.
    Typical Qualifications

    Education and Experience:
    • Minimum of a four-year undergraduate degree from an accredited college with major course work in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or data analytics. At least 3 years of prior relevant experience which includes collecting and analyzing data.
    • Tolling or similar work experience preferred but not required.
    • Experience analyzing and reporting large amounts of data.
    • Advanced proficiency with computers, Microsoft Excel, and other Office products.
    • Proficiency with using Microsoft Power BI and database programming languages such as SQL.
