    The Opportunity
    The Adobe Podcast team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join us in advancing our spoken-audio web products and embarking on new adventures into generative AI that unlock human creativity.

    What You'll Do

    • Invent, design, and implement brand new, modern video and audio workflows on the web in close collaboration with talented product leaders, world class audio researchers and passionate engineers.
    • Work on a strong, experienced team with a storied history in startups that is making waves in product and engineering at Adobe.
    • Report directly into and work closely with the GM of Adobe Podcast

    What You Need to Succeed

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
    • 8+ years of relevant industry experience
    • An ability and interest in owning experiences that will have you being an engineer but also thinking about product and organization across teams.
    • Experience architecting, developing and maintaining API services
    • Experience building complex interactive single page apps
    • Experience with video/audio on the web, WebRTC experience is a bonus
    • Comfortable programming in multiple languages and paradigms
    • Thorough appreciation of and ability to write tests
    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $124,000 -- $234,200 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

    At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

    In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
