    Non-Clinical Research Budget Analyst

    CONTRACT Location: Anaheim, CA 92805

    Estimated length: 13 weeks (possibility to extend or convert)

    Salary: $30-$36 per hour (commensurate with experience)

    Job Description: As a Clinical Research Budgets Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clinical research initiatives and optimizing financial processes. You will be responsible for developing, negotiating, and managing budgets for clinical research studies, ensuring financial viability and compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, experience in billing and negotiation within the healthcare industry, and a passion for driving innovation through clinical research.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with research teams to develop comprehensive budgets for clinical research studies, including personnel costs, supplies, and overhead expenses.
    • Negotiate budget terms and funding agreements with sponsors and funding agencies to secure funding for research projects.
    • Monitor and track expenses related to clinical research studies, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and financial projections.
    • Analyze financial data and research metrics to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement in clinical research activities.
    • Provide financial guidance and support to research teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and institutional policies.
    • Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders, highlighting the financial performance of clinical research studies.
    • Stay current on industry regulations, funding opportunities, and best practices in clinical research finance.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on clinical research finance and billing within the healthcare industry.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop and manage complex budgets for clinical research studies.
    • Experience negotiating funding agreements and contracts with sponsors or funding agencies.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis tools.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced clinical research environment.
    Pay Details: $30.00 to $36.00 per hour
