SUMMARY: The Data Analyst will play a key role in planning and developing operational models and reviewing and conducting analysis throughout the company. In this role, the Data Analyst will compile data from multiple sources and analyze the data to produce information and business intelligence across the organization. The Data Analyst reports through operations and will be responsible for continually enhancing business visibility, forecasting, and making recommendations to improve processes and support growth.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Monitor the current data warehouse and troubleshoot any issues that may arise with ETL jobs or dashboard refreshes.
Ensure current Power BI dashboards are accurate and up-to-date.
Build new analytics tools based on business needs and priorities set by OGI leadership.
Develop analytics to appropriately cover and work with the company's core business functions.
Create reports to summarize company performance and forecast future performance.
Develop analysis of business operations to identify opportunities to improve profitability and operating efficiency.
Work with the company's core business functions such as operations, sales, detailing, project management, estimators, inventory, logistics, production, and leadership.
Prepare and summarize routine operational, sales, and supply information (i.e., weekly sales numbers, margin analysis, customer analysis, weekly KPls of operations.)
Develop comprehensive, complex, and accurate information reports for specific departments and stakeholders.
Lead by improving business intelligence and innovating business processes across the company.
Serve as a resource for the executive team on data analysis and benchmarking issues.
Provides training and data analysis education for colleagues.
Ensure projects, goals, and timelines are being met.
Manage the integration of data and change process.
Manages internal and external reporting and analysis of key operations.
Automate reports that are needed daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly.
Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, AND PROFICIENCIES: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Statistics, Data Management, Finance or Economics or other 4-year degree. Proven track record in identifying and institutionalizing opportunities for cost savings/profit enhancement and efficiency improvements. Ability to efficiently develop thorough analyses and communicate reasonable, accurate, and defendable conclusions to operational leaders. Knowledge of operational and financial analysis in logistics, supply chain or manufacturing. Experience performing SQL queries, triggers, and functions. Extensive experience working with Excel (VLOOKUP's, pivot tables, etc.) Experience with data virtualization tools (Power BI preferred.) Experience utilizing ERP or accounting software. Experience working directly with the business daily to determine their data needs. Experience translating technical data into functional, usable information for the business. Ability to analyze, question and summarize data for executive decision-making. Must be polished and comfortable presenting data to Executives. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
