    Description
    Class-A CDL Drivers for SHARP Fleet LLC (HOME DAILY)
    Shifts (Full Time & Part Time): Morning, Afternoon, Overnight, Evening, Weekday and/or Weekend. You will be home every day to see your family. Get full-time hours and benefits only working 3 days a week.
    Location: Allentown, PA (Lehigh County)
    Compensation: Starting pay $24/hr
    (Will be paid even during dead miles)
    Weekly Schedule:
    • Work 3 days/shifts at 13 hours each.
    • Opportunity for additional shifts and overtime.
    • Start Times will vary between: 1AM - 11PM (may possibly change in the future)

Our deliveries are 100% no-touch freight (drop and hook only) to live loads. These local routes are roughly miles round trip.     Duties & Responsibilities:
    • Drive local and regional routes that have you home after every shift.
    • Haul Amazon loads (primarily no-touch freight). Drop and Hook.
    • Maintain a detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations.
    • Verify loads for accuracy.
    • Perform pre and post-trip vehicle inspection reports.
    • Use app-based technology to pick up, drop off, track, log, and maintain loads and hours.

    Requirements:
    • Must be at least 21 years old.
    • Must have at least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience with no prior accidents.
    • Have a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL).
    • Must successfully pass DOT physical.
    • Must be able to speak, read, and write in English to communicate with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records.
    • No current CDL suspension or revocation.
    • Clean Motor Vehicle Record.
    • You must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
    • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections; document and report vehicle defects, maintenance needs, or safety issues
    • Adapt to unexpected situations (road closures, weather, traffic) and re-route or re-plan stops as needed to stay on schedule
    • You must be able to use handheld technology and smartphone applications such as GPS.
    • Schedule fueling stops and breaks strategically to avoid unnecessary downtime
    • You must be flexible with work schedule (Day/Evening/Night shifts/Weekends).
    • Monitor and manage Hours of Service (HOS) to ensure full compliance (e.g., driving limits, required rest breaks, on-duty time)
    • You must live in or near the Lehigh Valley metropolitan area.
