As a production supervisor, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing manufacturing operations and managing a team of 30 employees.

Here's an overview of your responsibilities and qualifications:

Responsibilities:
Supervising day-to-day manufacturing activities to ensure production goals are met efficiently and safely.
Providing guidance, support, and coaching to team members to optimize their performance and productivity.
Monitoring production processes to identify areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and quality.
Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Collaborating with other departments, such as quality assurance and maintenance, to resolve production issues and improve processes.
Reporting to the production superintendent on key performance indicators, production metrics, and any issues that arise.
Job Requirements
Prior experience in manufacturing or production environments in a supervisory role.
Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate a team.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and safety protocols.
Problem-solving abilities to address challenges and optimize production processes.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

While a degree may not be required, relevant certifications or coursework in manufacturing, management, or related fields can be beneficial.
