- Perform Area Inspections of plant to conform to a predictive maintenance mindset.
- Inspects completed work for conformity to statutory and company regulations, checks integrity of equipment used and ensures that all required tests are done prior to turning over equipment to production.
- Performs preventative maintenance repairs of all cement plant equipment (roller presses, crushers, ball mills, pumps, compressors, screening equipment, conveying equipment)
- Analyze all jobs with focus on safety and properly execute a JHA and WAE
- Troubleshoot the cause of the broken equipment and perform proper repair.
- Training new personnel
- Responsible for setting up equipment for jobs performed by contractors.
- Maintains appropriate records, produces written reports and follows inspection schedules in coordination with Maintenance Management.
- Analyzes procedures, methods, within the area of responsibility, and seeks new ways to improve the area.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Associate degree, vocational or technical area is preferred.
- 5 years maintenance experience, preferred with prior experience in the cement or mining industry desirable.
