- Ensures quality nursing care delivery
- Assists with professional practice environment advancement
- Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN within two years if ADN)
- Three years of direct care RN nursing experience
- Professional organization membership within one month of hire
- CCRN certification
- Masters Degree within five years
- Previous staff development and education experience
- Interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in medical knowledge and skills
- Ability to teach effectively
- Maintains required competencies for education
- Assesses, plans, and evaluates patient care
- Collaborates for effective discharge planning
- Serves as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare members
- Evaluates patient care responsiveness and recommends treatment modifications
