What you'll be doing?

• Handle prescription requests, build trusted customer relationships, display patience, empathy, care, and compassion
• Tackle rejected insurance claims, resolve issues for optimal customer satisfaction
• Adhere to department processes, input data accurately, dispense medication, and verify details
• Maintain smooth department operations by assisting with tasks, managing inventory levels, and stocking supplies
• Properly manage products, utilize equipment, maintain precise logs, and follow sanitation guidelines

Required Qualifications:

• Proficiency in computer operations
• Ability to execute basic mathematical calculations for data entry and prescription filling accuracy
• State-specific requirements may mandate Pharmacy Technician certification
• New Jersey candidates need to be 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualification:

• Experience in product ordering and inventory control
• Prior Pharmacy Technician experience
• Pharmacy Technician Certification

Applicants Note: Certification or state registration might be mandatory for Pharmacy Technician roles in certain states where Wegmans operates. In such locations, individuals may be hired before obtaining necessary qualifications, with support provided during the process. Board Certified Pharmacy Technicians at select places earn an additional $.50/hour shift differential.
