- Education: Bachelors Degree preferred, equivalent to 4 years of preparation. Must be a graduate of a recognized nursing school. If your RN license has been inactive, retired, or expired for five years or more without being licensed in another state during this period, you must successfully complete a Board-approved refresher course before reinstating your license. To be considered for current licensure, you need to apply for reinstatement within a year of finishing the refresher program.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience is preferred with one year of relevant practice.
- Licensure/Certification: Active RN licensure in the appropriate state is mandatory.
