Job summary

Office Assistant Directors provide leadership in Camp Orkila's main office, camp store, and housekeeping operations and provide high quality communication and support for campers, families, and staff across all of Camp Orkila's summer programs.

Responsibilities

  • Manages office administration including phone and email communication and paperwork.
  • Provides leadership in the mail room, camp store, and housekeeping department.
  • Supervises assigned seasonal staff by observing, coaching, providing feedback, evaluating, and assisting with problem solving.
  • Supervises and assists with specific camper supervision.

Qualifications

  • Current certifications in CPR and First Aid.
  • 2+ years camping/customer service experience.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite and Point of Sale (POS) software.
  • Experience with and knowledge of youth behavior management and child abuse prevention.
