    Description

    INFINITEK are currently partnering with a Global Manufacturing Organisation who are building a new state of the art manufacturing site in South Houston. They are looking for a Project Manager to manage a new brownfield development site. You'll be responsible for the full fit out including the selection and installation of machinery.

    Job Opportunity

    Currently, there is an opportunity for a Project Manager on a Fixed Term Contract basis (24 month contract). The successful candidate will be responsible for leading projects from inception to completion, ensuring they align with strategic goals and deliver on expectations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Managing all phases of project planning, including scope definition, resource allocation, and scheduling.
    • Leading a team through the project life cycle, ensuring adherence to budget and timeline.
    • Facilitating effective communication across various functions within a matrix environment.
    • Providing regular updates to stakeholders and collaborating closely with the program management team.
    • Delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

    Candidate Requirements:

    • Proven experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
    • Experience managing the start-up of a new facility or managing an expansion
    • Experience managing external contractors
    • Precision engineering or knowledge of the install of CNC machinery would be beneficial
    • Demonstrated expertise in budget management and project leadership.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of leading diverse teams.
    • Effective problem-solving abilities.
