Ledgent Finance & Accounting is partnering with a growing property management company seeking an experienced Bookkeeper with strong software skills in Yardi, AppFolio, or QuickBooks.

This role supports day‑to‑day accounting functions and plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records for multiple properties.

Key Responsibilities

Perform full‑cycle bookkeeping for residential and/or commercial properties
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor invoices, tenant payments, and aging management
Manage bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and general ledger entries
Prepare monthly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and property‑specific reporting
Assist with rent rolls, tenant ledgers, and deposit reconciliation
Maintain accurate records for CAM charges, move‑ins/outs, and security deposits
Handle vendor communication, work orders, and invoice follow‑up as needed
Support month‑end and year‑end close procedures
Ensure accuracy, compliance, and proper documentation across all accounting tasks

Qualifications

2-5+ years of bookkeeping or property accounting experience
Experience with Yardi, AppFolio, or QuickBooks required
Strong understanding of property management workflows (rent rolls, tenant ledgers, AP/AR, reconciliations)
Proficient in Excel and general accounting software
Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple properties and deadlines simultaneously
Excellent communication skills and professionalism
