    The role:
    Cyber and IT Risk Analyst

    Join our Cyber Security team, a vital department within British Airways responsible for protecting our digital assets and ensuring the digital security of our operations.

    As a Cyber and IT Risk Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in assessing and ensuring cyber and IT risk is effectively managed across our whole estate.


    What you'll do:
    Responsible for detailed quantitative and qualitative analysis of BA's cyber risk using known frameworks like NIST and ISO27005.
    Engage collaboratively and pragmatically with stakeholders to undertake cyber and IT risk assessments, supporting cyber control decision making.
    Provide subject matter expertise on cyber risk to BA, acting as a trusted advisor.

    Effectively communicate, reason and influence stakeholders across BA and IAG Tech to promote the understanding of cyber and IT risk and promote its use in prioritisation and decision making.

    Manage and maintain BA's Risk Log, documentation and reporting of identified BA Cyber and IT risks.
    Support the ongoing remediation of risks aligned to establishedrisk appetite and BA cyber security strategy.
    Support the implementation of the BA cyber strategy.
    Support Cyber Assurance Delivery Leads with risk documentation and tracking.

    What you'll bring to British Airways:
    Ability to remain calm and prioritise under pressure
    Highly analytical, demonstrating a methodical and structured approach with high attention to detail.
    Good communicator, taking complex technical issues and making them approachable to all stakeholders
    Ability to produce, track, manage and organise a high quality of documentation

    Your experience:
    Holding or working towards relevant cyber and/or risk qualifications/certifications e.g. Sec+,CEH, SSCP etc
    Demonstrable experience using at least two cyber and/IT risk methodologies
    Experience in aviation, safety critical or critical infrastructure environments would be advantageous
