Essential Functions

• Perform milling, turning, drilling, loading/unloading materials, running programs, tapping, de-burring, sawing, and sanding tasks;
• Proficient with measuring devices such as OD mics, ID mics, bore gages, height gages, and dial calipers;
• Experienced in set up and fixture building;
• Conduct in-process inspections of machined products and document results;
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions;
• Complete and maintain paperwork for parts;
• Maintain safe and orderly working area conditions.

Required Education or Experience

• High School Diploma or GED;
• Two or more years of technical experience;
• Seven or more years of related CNC operating experience.

Preferred Education or Experience

• Graduate from a technical school;
• Experience with SolidWorks, Catia, MasterCam, Fusion360 CAD software.

Supervisory or Management Responsibility

• This position does not involve direct supervisory or management responsibilities.

Primary Work Environment

• Climate-controlled building;
• Shop/Warehouse setting with occasional loud noises and fumes;
• Frequent moving mechanical equipment and vibrations.

Physical Demands

• Hearing ability;
• Lifting, pushing, and pulling objects (up to 50 pounds);
• Standing, stretching, talking, using hands and fingers, viewing, and walking.

Expected Days and Hours

• Monday to Friday, First Shift - 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  

Occasional overtime, weekends, and shift rotations may be required based on workload.

Travel

• Minimal travel is anticipated for this role.

Required Personal Equipment/Tooling

• Steel-toed footwear.

Additional Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) necessary for job duties will be provided by Dow Aero.
