Job summary
The Caregiver seeks to enrich the lives of the individuals we serve by implementing various aspects of the residential program working with each individual in a hands-on capacity based on their needs interests both within their home and out in the community.The caregiver supports residents efforts to plan carry out daily routine social recreational activities events etc. Supports residents efforts to meet demands of daily living including meeting basic health medical nutritional needs attending personal hygiene general appearance responsible handling finances maintaining individual shared living areas use leisure time etc.
The caregiver actively seeks teachable moments throughout workday with each resident encouraging atmosphere where natural learning occurs on-going basis
