    Job Description


    American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with ARRT registration and Siemens MRI experience preferred.

    Responsibilities

    • Work in a hospital-based MRI department with both adult and pediatric patients
    • Operate Siemens MRI scanners using advanced imaging protocols and PACS systems
    • Day shift schedule, three 12-hour shifts per week from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
    • Use of EMR systems including EPIC, IMPAX, and PACS for image transfer and verification
    • Daily responsibilities include patient identification, history collection, and safety verification
    • Administer and document MRI contrast procedures for adult and pediatric patients according to protocol
    • Ensure all imaging and patient demographic information is properly transferred and verified in PACS and EMR systems
    • Actively participate in quality improvement by documenting incidents as opportunities for process enhancement
    • Assist with departmental workflow, mentor new staff and students, and maintain a clean, orderly work environment
    • Pre-employment drug screen and background check are required

    Requirements

    • Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiological Science
    • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry eligible
    • Advanced certification in MR required within one year of employment
    • Current BLS for healthcare providers (HCP BLS) competency required
    • Ability to perform all core tasks of MRI technologists including safe MRI contrast administration and scanning procedures
    • License required if applicable
