    We have an opportunity for a Value Stream Manager to join our Delavan, WI team. You will manage Value Stream Group Leads, Quality Resources, Buyers/Planners, and Manufacturing Engineering focused on performance management, talent development and training, and ensure appropriate staffing of team. You will execute and track daily management performance and ensure effective root cause analysis via counter measures and corrective actions.

    You will:
    • Manage a team of supervisors, engineers and planners in our Fabrication department.
    • Design and implement Lean processes and systems while following the PDCA cycle.
    • Define measurable PQDCC goals and objectives for all improvement activities.
    • Actively develop and deploy Lean, Quality and EH&S maturity across business in accordance with site maturity assessment results.
    • Teach, coach and mentor process owners and leaders on how to sustain results.
    • Identify and evaluate resource requirements to support production requirements.
    • Communicate plans, actions, and results to the organization.
    • Execute company strategy deployment associated with implementation of lean systems, in a fast-paced environment.
    • Partner with Site Leader on budget development and ensuring resources meet budget level.
    • Liaise with upstream functional leaders; Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Quality, Project Management ensuring value stream focus is on delivery to customer satisfaction.
    Key Qualifications:
    • 5+ years of successful operations leadership experience with proven record of sustainable results.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (if no 4 year degree, you will be required to complete a degree with the support of Pentair).
    • Broad business knowledge and the ability to link customer needs with business processes and suppliers.
    • Demonstrable experience in fundamental lean tools and concepts (VSM, 5S, Std Work, Continuous Flow, Transactional (Office) Lean, etc.)
    • Possess strong analytical problem-solving skills (8 Step RCCM, 8D, DMAIC, etc.)
    • Possess project management skills with the ability to support multiple projects and balance priorities through planning and execution.
    • Possess strong coaching, facilitation, and organizational skills.
    • Proficient in Change Management.
    • Have managed the transformation of value streams or plants, by organizing Lean events, projects, and organizational changes necessary to achieve a sustained transformation.
    • Be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
