Job Summary and Qualifications
Under the direction of the Radiology Director and/or Lead Technologist performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedure applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology. Regulates the equipment used to produce digital radiographic/fluoroscopic images for the purpose of detecting pathology and abnormalities. Operates equipment safely and maintains ALARA standards while performing all types of procedures within the scope of an ARRT Radiologic Technologist. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with our internal and external customers, fellow employees, and other departments and facilities and our medical staff. This person must work closely with the radiologist staff and general medical staff.

We are licensed by Floridas Agency for Health Care Administration as a Primary Stroke Center. We provide diagnostic services accredited by the American College of Radiology. Our Hospital's surgical services include minimally invasive procedures. HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital is a community hospital with state-of-the-art practices. We are located in the Big Lake area of Central Florida. The area has sports fishing, natural beauty, easygoing lifestyle and friendly people.
