    Lockheed Martin is seeking a Manufacturing Robotics Engineer to be part of a world-class team of engineers that are responsible for designing and implementing core automation and robotic systems for our production factory located in Chelmsford, MA.


    Basic Qualifications:
    Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
    An understanding of automated system design - sensors, controllers, industrial robots, control logic, and process design
    Basic electrical troubleshooting skills (multimeter use, hand soldering, and circuit testing)
    Familiarity with electronics manufacturing and production automation and/or robotics systems

    The ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance is required and must be able to obtain an Interim Security Clearance prior to start.


    Desired Skills:
    Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Robotics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
    Robotics and automated assembly experience/training are strongly desired
    Solid knowledge of full life cycle of automated processes and equipment from design to implementation to maintenance and upgrades
    Programming Experience and Debugging Skills - Python, .Net, Java, or similar programming language
    Knowledge of machine-to-machine integration and machine-to-ERP communication
    Computer vision and/or machine learning concepts
    Familiarity with the Military/Aerospace Manufacturing Industry
    Internet of Things (IoT) development and/or microcontroller experience is a plus
    UX experience is a plus
    Lean Six Sigma is a plus
    Outstanding work ethic, excellent teaming skills, and ability to multi-task with multiple projects and job tasks
    Self-motivated, customer-focused, proactive, and able to professionally support and quickly adapt to changes in program or customer requirements
    Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint

    Good verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with management, customers and peers.

    Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

    Work Schedules:
    Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees
    Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed

    These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

    Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
