    About the Director Technical Operations position:

    The Director Technical Operations and Security will be at the forefront of driving all aspects of our technology infrastructure, cyber security, and technological innovation. They will be continually assessing and improving the current state of the offerings and lead the planning, IT Roadmap, architecture, day-to-day operation, and continuous improvement of the environment. Their leadership will be instrumental in fostering a performance-driven culture that equally values fun, innovation, and efficiency.

    What you'll do as a Director Technical Operations:

    Strategic Leadership:

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the company's business goals and objectives.
    • Assess current IT infrastructure, applications, and operations to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities.
    • Advocate for and lead significant IT initiatives that provide a clear ROI and long-term value for the company.
    • Develop, communicate and execute the company's overall security program that aligns with business objectives, customer needs, and risk management.

    Communication Excellence:

    • Distill and present complex IT topics to Customers and senior leadership, ensuring clarity, relevance, and timeliness.
    • Engage with various stakeholders, promoting transparent and effective communication.
    • Translate technical jargon into business language to drive informed decision-making.

    Team Development:

    • Cultivate an environment that promotes professional growth, collaboration, continuous improvement, and a strong performance culture.
    • Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, ensuring that they have the resources and skills required to meet organizational needs.
    • Implement training and professional development programs to ensure the team stays updated with the latest technologies and best practices.

    Operational Excellence:

    • Ensure the seamless operation of all IT functions, including infrastructure, security, networking, DBA.
    • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of new systems and enhancements to existing systems.
    • Establish and monitor KPIs, ensure that IT projects are delivered on time and within budget.

    Stakeholder Collaboration:

    • Partner with the customer experience and sales team understand customer challenges and technology needs and ensure IT initiatives support those needs.
    • Foster strong relationships with external vendors and partners.

    Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

    • Stay updated with the latest technological advancements and industry trends.
    • Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging the team to bring forward new ideas and solutions.
    • Continuously evaluate and improve IT processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

    Budgeting and Vendor management:

    • Develop and maintain the technology department budget, including forecasting expenses tracking spending and maximizing resources.
    • Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers. Evaluate vendor proposals and negotiate contracts to ensure that we receive the best value for our technology investments.
    Requirements:

    What you'll need to be a successful Director Technical Operations:

    • 10+ years of management experience as it relates to Enterprise Information Technology
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience leading an enterprise Tech Ops team.
    • Proven ability to articulate and communicate complex topics in a clear, concise manner to senior leadership and customers.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve their full potential.
    • Strong understanding of IT best practices, trends, and emerging technologies.
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute technology initiatives that drive business results.
    • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering practical, innovative solutions to complex challenges.
    • United States Citizenship or Legal United States Permanent Resident status.
