Description

The company is a leading provider of market intelligence. They are looking for a passionate Data Analyst to both program market research surveys and turn the resultant data into statistically-verifiable insights. You will program online surveys using Decipher and Qualtrics along with other online platforms as assigned; clean and structure data sets in SPSS; generate data cross-tabulations using Wincross or other software as assigned; monitor operations and quality control procedures for improvements; and learn a variety of advanced analytical techniques.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Program online surveys with special attention to logic and aesthetics
• Clean and structure complex data sets in SPSS
• Analyze/interpret results using common and advanced statistical techniques in SPSS and other programs as assigned
• Produce client-friendly data cross-tabulations in WinCross
• Perform various quality assurance tasks
• Develop and maintain databases/data systems
• Define new process improvement
• Location - Onsite in Vancouver, WA

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of and experience with statistical packages for analyzing large datasets, specifically, SPSS and Excel
• Knowledge of Decipher, Qualtrics, Javascript and/or XML helpful but not required provided you can demonstrate an understanding of survey logic and the potential to acquire the necessary expertise
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• BS or MS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
