    Description
    DutiesManage various specialized civilian and military personnel programs for the HQ Military Entrance Processing Command, J-1 Human Resources Directorate.
    Advise top agency management officials on the development and implementation of HQ Military Entrance Processing Command's human resources programs.

    Manage a strategic plan that provides all facets of human resources programs to support the accomplishment of goals/objectives by integrating long-range business plans and workforce requirements.

    Proactively plan, anticipating future command HR requirements and alternatives to meet those requirements.
    Motivate and inspire the workforce to effectively meet the needs of the command.
    Facilitate change management processes by effectively communicating strategic decisions.

    Specialized Experience Required:

    Leading and directing a diverse group of Human Resources (HR) management, technical, and support personnel to support an organization's HR requirements; Managing budget/resources for a large organization's programs to ensure mission accomplishment can be met; Leading the development, delivery and integration of effective and at times complex human resources solutions; Developing vision, strategy and policy for an organization's Human Capital program.

    This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14).

    Grade Requirement:

    Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-14).
